Watch Dogs: Legion is the third installment in the Watch Dogs series of games dedicated to the adventures of the hacker group DedSec. The key difference of this part from the others is that now you can play as any character in the game without any exceptions.

The action unfolds in the London of the future, where all the machines in the city are connected to a single information network, and the power is held in their hands by the mercenaries of the PMC Albion. The story begins with the fact that the hacker group DedSec is accused of London terrorist attacks, although in fact they have nothing to do with it. The real organizers of the attacks are some organization called "Day Zero", but not many people know about them, so they put the responsibility on the hackers.

As a result, the British branch of the hacker group disintegrates, and the main character is faced with the task of restoring it. To do this you will need to form a new team, which will unite not only skilled hackers, capable of hacking the unified information network, but also all those who want to stand against the government and the mercenaries who have seized power.

There is no protagonist in Watch Dogs: Legion - the central character can become anyone you choose. At the same time, you can change the decision at any time from the game menu. A character at this time can be busy, so sometimes during the change of the controlled character a scene about his distraction from his business can be played.

The game offers two playthrough options. In the first, all controllable characters are mortal. As soon as all recruits die - the game ends. In the normal gameplay variant, all characters are immortal, but the tension in the game is lost, and it resembles an ordinary RPG in an open world.

The game can be played in combat, stealth or hacker mode. Each of the classes has its own abilities, a set of improvements and can use different tools. At the same time, all the heroes have their own history, which determines the set of their skills and character traits.
