Far Cry 6 to Windows

Far Cry 6 is an action-RPG shooter about a guerrilla revolution in a fictional country called Yara. You will play as a hero named Dani Rojas, who joins the revolutionaries to revenge on the dictator for the deaths of his loved ones and help the country to gain its freedom.

Far Cry 6 overview

Far Cry 6 is set in fictional Spanish-speaking country, similar to Cuba, ruled by ruthless dictator Anton Castillo. You play as Dani Rojas, who can be male or female (depending on player choice), both of which are voiced. The main character lost his parents as a child and grew up in an orphanage because of a regime built by Castillo. There he made two best friends, but at the beginning of the game they die.

During Castillo's reign, the country has become one huge plantation for growing raw materials to produce a cure for cancer, which is sent for export. Protests break out from time to time in the Yar, which the dictator keeps in check by executing or exiling all dissenters to labor camps. Huge numbers of civilians are sent to plantations for forced labor.

Dani decides to flee the country, but the boat is spotted, resulting in the death of all fugitives except the main character. Dani Rojas is thrown onto an island, where he meets local rebels who are willing to help him leave Yara in exchange for help with the revolution. As a result, the protagonist joins them to avenge his loved ones and free the country.

The action unfolds in first person. The main branch of events is well cutscene, each new task feels like another episode of an action thriller. The game has beautiful graphics and an elaborate open world, made with great attention to detail. The player can explore it on their own, searching for numerous outposts.

In addition to the main plot of the game provides a large number of side activities, on the open world scattered numerous military facilities and checkpoints. Sweeping additional points is well integrated into the story and has practical value - captured bases are used as points of rapid movement around the world, serve to replenish supplies, call for transport, etc. For the competent silent capture of a new point the player receives an additional bonus to experience and materials.

Game mechanics is not limited to just shooting - you can also build a camp, engage in hunting and fishing, erect various buildings, craft weapons and armor, solve mysteries scattered around the island, solve puzzles. There is also an interesting companion animal system called Amigo, which can make life of a rebel much easier.
