Mafia 2 is a computer game for Windows (and a number of other platforms) developed by the Czech company 2K Czech in the Action-adventure genre with elements of third-person shooter and car simulator and with an open world. It was released in 2010.
The story, gameplay and system requirements
In spite of its name, the game's plot is not connected to Mafia 2002, although it is in the same setting. Mafia 2 is set in the 1940s USA, in the fictional city of Empire Bay. The main character is Vito Scaletti, an Italian descendant with ties to the Mafia who dreams of wealth and success.
The gameplay is a mix of action-adventure, third-person shooter and driving simulation. The player moves around the city on foot or by car (and in the car you can listen to the radio with the music of the era) and performs various tasks of his bosses - interacts with different characters, steals cars, participates in shootouts with other gangs and the police, who prosecute him for various violations. The game features many actual firearms that existed at the time. You can buy weapons and ammo in the store. There you can also buy clothes that will change the appearance of the character (sometimes you just need it to hide from the police). The open world means that between missions the player has time to freely explore the city. A unique feature of the game - there is a change of seasons (winter and summer).
The minimum system requirements are a 3 GHz processor, 1.5 GB of RAM, a video card with 256 MB of memory, 8 GB of free disk space. Recommended - 2.4 GHz processor, 2 GB of RAM, 512 MB video card.
