Divinity: Original Sin 2 was developed in the spirit of swarming games from a decade ago, such as Baldur's Gate 2. The plot is based on the fact that all the gods in the world have become weak, and the Inferno want to destroy all the people in the world. The beginning of the game is presented as a journey on a ship, on which the main character moves to the island of Joy. This island is a prison for mages. But along the way, the ship sinks after an attack by the Desolation Hexes.

Gameplay Elements

The player can learn many different skills and abilities during the gameplay. You can learn how to summon Incarnate - a special spirit that not only helps kill enemies, but also pulls on itself spells, taking damage from the main character.

A new element added to the game is the Origin Points, with which you can use stronger skills that do the most damage.

Advanced turn-based combat

Turn-based combat is as crisp and detailed as in the first part. The player must strategically manage his group in battles and use not only his spells and abilities, but also his environment to achieve victory.

You can enter into a dialogue with almost all of the surrounding characters, the answer options for the player depend on many parameters - whether there is a current quest at the moment, what knowledge and skills you have.

Combat battles, diplomacy and even puzzles make the player fully immersed in the process. The puzzles and riddles in the game can indeed be quite difficult, and to solve them requires a lot of hard work. Some of them players were solving all over the Internet.

In addition to the single-player story campaign, players can play in co-op mode. It's possible to play Divinity Original Sin II with two or four players online, so each character in the group will be controlled by a separate player.
