A simple and useful program has appropriate functionality, not overloaded with unnecessary points. A limited set of narrowly focused functions is more than enough to successfully perform the task at hand. After downloading and launching the program, users can take advantage of the following features:

• intuitive and maximally simple Russian-language interface;
• the software is compatible with all types of modern scanners;
• If you have several scanners connected to one computer, the program will let you select the necessary one;
• scanLite is able to automatically select an available scanning device, suggest a file name, and a folder to place scans in. The user will be able to change all of these parameters if he or she wishes. Otherwise, it can be done by selecting the "Scan Documents" button;
• the appearance of the program can be customized to your liking;
• it is possible to adjust the color palette of scanned images and the desired quality of scans;
• the small size of the utility does not overload the device to which it is installed;
• for proper work of the program it is enough to have the following minimum requirements to the personal computer: processor from 1 GHz, main memory of not less than 1 GB, free space on the hard drive of not less than 5 MB.

Narrowly focused free software is optimal for users who have to systematically scan a large volume of documents with standard parameters.
