Ivideon to Windows

Ivideon is a cloud-based video surveillance service with a free license. The functionality of the system allows the software to be used both in private homes and at infrastructure facilities.

Configuration Wizard

The video surveillance connection and interface customization is carried out step by step with the help of the system wizard. All you need to do to start the setup wizard is to connect camera to PC, TV or router with Wi-Fi, choose tariff and register client's profile.

Shooting modes

Each camera can be configured for a specific task. To do this, select a shooting mode in the Ivideon Client, which can be continuous or forced. In the first case, the camera records events as a continuous stream, in the second - when a motion or sound detector is triggered. Recorded material automatically goes into the archive of events.

Motion sensors

Ivideon software has a built-in component allowing it to detect motion when such a function is not available in the surveillance camera. To trigger a motion detection recording, the user only needs to set the area of the intended action, such as pointing the lens at a door or window, and exclude static objects that might move, such as tree branches. As soon as the sensor notices movement, the user will receive a PUSH-notification on his PC and smartphone.

Failure notifications

In case of a camera error the program will send an appropriate message. Ivideon monitors the operation of the detection devices in real time and reports any malfunctions in the system.

Access Control

For commercial video surveillance purposes, the customer can use the security manager to allow personnel to perform certain actions in the program.

Levels of access:

• online viewing;
• rotation control of cameras;
• work with the archive.

To access events remotely, the user binds accounts of third-party devices, including Apple- and Android-based ones.

Selective export

This function allows you to transfer video from the archive to an external storage medium. To export, just select the time period of the clip by zooming in on the timeline, and click on the unload button.

Data compression

The program allows you to save video footage in compressed formats. When using a camera with motion and sound detectors, the user saves themselves the trouble of erasing unnecessary metadata arrays.

Camera Map

This feature is used when installing DVRs at sites with different addresses. A camera map allows you to group broadcasts for easy monitoring.

Ivideon is a cross-platform client for organizing remote video surveillance. The program is installed on the computer, which acts as a link between the camera and the server. To ensure data security, video footage is duplicated to a cloud archive, which can only be used for a fee. Otherwise, files are stored on the PC. Since the Ivideon client works with any camera modification and type, it is recommended for home and commercial use.
