HaoZip features an attractive design (which, in addition, we can also modify, such as setting different icon styles) and, as befits a good compressor and decompressor, supports many archives and disk image formats. These are ZIP, RAR, 7Z, TAR, TGZ, ARJ, CAB, ISO, IMG and 40 others.

The program has a built-in benchmark, thanks to which we can test our computer and see how it handles compression and decompression, and how much resources it uses for these purposes. This is not the only additional tool - HaoZip also includes features such as:

• image file conversion to various formats;
• image viewer;
• MD5 checksum creation and validation;
• batch renaming of files;
• even search and replace lines in text documents.

Most of the files you download from the Internet will be compressed. Saving compressed files makes the most efficient use of hard disk space. It is also common to compress any files you download for others. WinRAR makes it easy to compress and decompress any file you choose. For more secure files, you can set a password using the built-in 256-bit AES encryption algorithm. This ensures that only those with the password can view and interact with the file.

It even supports the new RAR5 format. RAR5 is a huge improvement over RAR because the compression ratio is even higher. WinRAR has the widest compatibility of any compression program. If any additional file extensions become popular, you can be sure that WinRAR will update its program to include them.

With HaoZip, opening compressed files is very easy. There is a panel at the top of the window that lists all the basic functions. You can open a setup wizard, scan for viruses, add files, or create a self-extracting file with a single click. To unzip any file, all you have to do is right-click on it. From there, you can choose to extract the file from the drop-down list.

The program also offers additional features concerning working with archives:

• it can protect the compressed file with a password;
• create a self-extracting archive;
• restore an archive;
• ss well as converting between different formats, for example from RAR to ZIP.
