Concept and Rules

God of Olympus is a strategy game, at the start of which the player is given an abandoned city, and it is up to him to decide in which direction and at what pace to develop this location.

The player's main weapon is the six gods, and they become available as levels are completed and experience is gained. An important reminder: there is no army, only gods.

The first god that opens to the player is Zeus. After a few battles you can unlock the following inhabitants of the Pantheon: Ares, Apollo, Artemis. Each god has unique abilities that must be used during combat. For example:

• Apollo is able to charge his normal arrows and they become fiery;
• Zeus releases lightning at several enemies simultaneously, destroying them.

For a successful battle you need to combine the abilities of the gods, while assessing the "abilities" of the enemy city: defense, availability of temples. After all, the main goal is to destroy all the temples of the city.

Temples in cities (and in your city) appear when you unlock a new god, to unlock it you need to build a temple for the winning gold. The temple, is the home of the gods. The more temples in the enemy city, the stronger the gods must be. The only way to win a battle is to destroy all the temples.

Each battle brings many resources with which players return to their hometown. Resources can be invested in defense (guard towers, reinforcements, strong buildings) as well as invested in upgrading your pantheon.

In God of Olympus there is energy, "nectar", which is consumed with each battle, and is replenished after you level up or after a certain amount of time. For additional energy, you must make an in-game purchase.

During the game you can unite with your friends, as well as join combat alliances. The advantage of such alliances is that you can develop and expand your city faster.

There are two ways to join an alliance: donate your resources to the battle or join the battle yourself.

If you don't have enough resources, you can get them by going on a battle campaign or buy them inside the game with real money.
