NetSetMan to Windows

NetSetMan is a multifunctional program that combines several services at once. The user can not only configure network settings, but also set a computer name and manage local drives and devices. All of this allows you to use your PC safely and privately. Unlike the built-in Windows manager NetSetMan stands out because of its ability to quickly switch profiles.

Intuitive interface

Interaction with the program is done in 6 main tabs corresponding to 1 of the protocols. To set up a hotspot just open a window, enter the configuration data and save the profile for permanent use. To switch the protocols, the user can activate the compact view of the program. This mode prevents changes to saved configurations.

6 network protocols

The user can configure up to 6 Internet access points. Saving profiles is recommended for portable laptops when going online from permanent addresses (home, work, public). Protocols can also be configured when there are multiple providers (modem, cable line, satellite internet).

Profiles can be set manually knowing the IP address or the active connection can be saved automatically. At the same time, the connection configuration can be modified to ensure privacy on the network.

What can be changed:

• DNS domains and WINS/SMTP servers.
• IPv6 and IPv4 protocols.
• Gateways and metrics.
• IP addresses.
• MAC-address.

With a paid subscription, the limit on the number of protocols is removed. Additionally, access to an anonymous Proxy-server and to a network domain is provided.

Additional Options

A special function of the NetSetMan manager is the configuration of the network display of the device and its environment for each profile. When accessing the Internet from different addresses the PC will be recognized by the network as a new device. And when used anonymously, search engine algorithms and sites will not detect user activity at all.

What you can do:

• Set computer and workgroup names.
• Manage network drives and adapter status.
• Connect printers and faxes.
• Work with scripts (JS, BAT, VS etc.).
• Open Hosts files.
• Adjust screen extensions, desktop art and monitor properties.
• Set speaker and microphone volume.
• Set laptop power settings.
• Import/export configurations of network profiles.

All settings are made in the Russian language interface. To change the language, you will have to reinstall the program and select the desired language pack.

Managing Wi-Fi connections

Wi-Fi connection is managed in a separate tab. Saving the profile is available after selecting 1 or more available networks. The configurations are set automatically. The user only needs to save the access point. When connecting NetSetMan will scan existing profiles. And if it finds a familiar one it will offer to use it (except for remote ones).

Selecting a profile by location

The program analyzes which connection is used when leaving different access points. NetSetMan activates the profile that has been saved for a particular Wi-Fi network. The feature eliminates the need to manually switch configurations.

NetSetMan is a PC network connection manager with a wide range of functions. Installation of the application is recommended when using desktop and laptop computers connected to the Internet via cable lines, modems and routers.
