Ookla Speedtest has a wide network of servers located around the world, provided through partnerships with major web hosting providers and internet service providers. This allows Ookla to not only inform you how fast your internet connection is to servers in your region, but also anywhere in the world, with over 6000 test servers to choose from.

The application measures the bandwidth of your network in both directions (download and upload), as well as ping and jitter. Additionally, it determines your external IP address and its geolocation, providing valuable information about your presence and location on the internet.

Without creating a user account, you have the option to pre-select your preferred testing server, one that you like the most or the one closest to your location, in the program settings.

You can choose the units of measurement for the speed test results - kilobits (Kb) or megabits (Mb).

The "Results" page displays a list of all the tests you have taken, as well as the best result out of all the tests conducted. There is the ability to export the test results to a CSV file for further analysis or saving.
