Heavy Rain to Windows

The console-only release of this game is considered one of the most disappointing for PC audiences of all time. Users did not have the opportunity to play the slightly improved PC version until 2020. Despite the difference of almost 10 years, many were happy to go close the gestalt and finally familiarize themselves with one of the best drama and detective games on consoles and in principle. If you still have managed not to catch spoilers on this game and do not know who is the cause of the terrible events in a quiet American city and in the lives of several good people - boldly fill the gap.

Advantages of the game:

• Great story. Heavy Rain is built in the best canons of the detective thriller, which will keep you in suspense until the very end. However, a careful player will be able to figure out the Origami master if not in the beginning, then already in the middle of the game - and this characterizes the gameplay as very honest.
• Exciting and dynamic QTEs. Not everyone finds these mechanics a good substitute for real action, which for obvious reasons is not available in interactive cinema, but in Heavy Rain these moments are made very dynamically and vividly. Thanks to key combinations that are not easily pressed, the tension is conveyed.
• Different Characters. The story in Heavy Rain takes place on behalf of four characters - they vary slightly in importance, but overall all have a central influence on the plot. A distraught father, a journalist, a special agent and a policeman have to solve the case of a missing boy and, more importantly, bring him back alive.
• Great atmosphere. Heavy Rain manages to convey the unique tension that occurs in situations of general helplessness. The game feels very alive, because of the quality of the emotions conveyed.
• Quality of execution. The studio has always been famous for the quality of its works, dedicated to Sony. Heavy Rain was no exception - for its time this game was incredibly beautiful and realistic, surprising with its plausible weather, excellent animation and shading.

Unfortunately, Heavy Rain is a vivid but disposable experience. You can experience the whole gamut of emotions from the project if you see it for the first time. In order not to spoil your impression, don't study any additional materials on the game - even the smallest detail can reveal the intrigue at the inappropriate moment.

You should try Heavy Rain if you:

• have not been able to play it at one time because of its exclusivity status;
• love thriller-detectives - it is a pure representative of the genre;
• in games appreciate, above all, the story and presentation;
• prefer projects with variability - Heavy Rain has several endings, as well as optional choices during the game's passing;
• have nothing against QTEs and lengthy dialogues.

As one of the best projects of the 2010s, the game definitely deserves your attention - Heavy Rain is made with great attention to the process and even now pleasantly surprises with its quality, almost needing no improvements.
