The mobile port preserved everything that was so warmly (and sometimes ambiguously) accepted by the game's community at the time. • Part of a legendary series. Everyone has heard of Doom - it's one of the progenitors of the genre and the game that gave us the basic mechanics of a 3D shooter. Not every modern gamer wants to play even the third part on his PC, but a nice and optimized version for phones is a perfect variant.
• A true horror with guns. Players are still afraid of the stuffy and heavy atmosphere in Doom 3, although there have been much more inventive horror games for a long time. But this is one of the few games where you can not only tickle your nerves, but also practice shooting skills with a variety of arsenal.
• An extended story adventure. Even though the plot in Doom has always been secondary (according to the creator's precepts), in the threequel you will find an interesting and evolving journey to the very depths of the monstrous abodes of the series.
• Unique design - dark, harsh, futuristic and bloody, so you can describe Doom 3 in a few words. Complementing this heavy atmosphere is a crushing soundtrack.
• Excellent optimization for new platforms. In the year of release not everyone could afford to play Doom 3 comfortably, but now you can get a much better quality picture and a smooth game. All thanks to a quality port.

A veteran of the genre will always remain one - but the game needs a new breath if it is not to be forgotten. And in the case of Doom 3, it succeeded - the excellent mobile version fully captures the spirit of the original and allows you to experience the gameplay, familiar and even innovative for its time, from a safe distance and with modern conveniences.

Unlike the last version, the balance and lighting have been straightened out here, many annoying mechanics have been fixed (even the legendary player level lighting mechanic) and the project as a whole has become a little more comfortable. The key word is "a little", as some obligatory discomfort is an integral part of this game.

It is important to note that the game is quite hardcore - especially if you compare it to modern representatives of the genre. If that doesn't scare you - on the contrary, if you want to try something with a challenge, this game is perfect for you.

You should play Doom 3 if you are:

• are a fan of the series and haven't missed a single project in it in your time;
• want to experience the turning point of the series in person;
• want to get acquainted with the series as a whole, but not ready to start with the classics released in the 20th century;
• want to try a unique and maximally unfriendly to the player horror with rather hardcore complexity;
• are interested in the lore of the Doom universe and want to expand it for yourself.

With Doom 3 an entirely different era began for one of the oldest series, its technical and genre rebirth began - and this is perfectly visible from the first minutes.
