Hiya on Android

Hiya was developed to protect users from spam and advertising. Installing the application will also help in case of phone fraud. The program is targeted at Android 4.0+ users.

Enhanced protection

The software component of Hiya secures the smartphone and keeps the data confidential by detecting the contacts listed in the World Emergency List. The database is constantly updated, so the risk of your phone being infected with viruses to steal payment information is minimal.

Who is blocked:

• collection services.

Calls are blocked automatically, and the user receives a notification marked with a warning signal. The contact description is labeled with the message that the caller is spamming.

Identification

This feature provides information about unknown contact, which is not stored in the phone book. The mechanism of caller identification does not work in all cases, as the fraudsters often change numbers, and it takes time to add them to the emergency list.

When a call comes in, the user will see the real name of the contact in real time, as well as additional context about who or what the caller is calling for. Such information is collected from public Internet sources, as well as distributed to users of the application itself. If desired, any caller can complain about a contact by describing the situation.

Number identifier

As scammers disguise numbers with the help of special software it is sometimes impossible to identify them through an operator. Hiya eliminates such a possibility. Statistics

The app analyzes incoming calls daily and leaves comments in the Report tab.

What you can find out:

• The number of callers for which the report is compiled.
• The dates of the events.
• How many times they called.
• What kind of calls were made (spam, advertising, suspicious, undefined).

Call history displays both incoming and outgoing calls.

Creating subscriber profiles

Many smartphones support address books of contacts, which contain not only numbers, but also addresses, links to websites, etc. In Hiya the creation of questionnaires can be set up automatically. For the full display of information, friends and acquaintances must be registered on Facebook or Twitter under the numbers specified in the phone book. After updating the list of contacts, the user will see the full names and addresses of bloggers.
